The Challenge

A high-throughput logistics and warehousing operation in Nairobi's Industrial Area was spending over KES 480,000 per month on Kenya Power electricity — an unsustainable overhead with frequent grid outages disrupting cold-chain and refrigeration loads during peak distribution hours.

The Solution

Pergamon Energy engineered a 48kWp grid-tied commercial rooftop PV installation on the facility's 2,800m² flat roof:

• 192 × 250W monocrystalline Tier-1 panels in a south-facing geometric array
• 50kVA string inverter with integrated AC/DC protection
• EPRA-compliant engineering drawings and commissioning certificate
• Remote monitoring dashboard for real-time generation and consumption visibility
